“The magician longs to see” is the second of four chapters in our latest various artist project.

Based around the Twin Peaks poem: Fire walk with me, this chapter is a collection of darker, progressive techno sounds. Characterised by heavy kicks and hypnotic rhythms. Once again showcasing 3 local Australian techno producers, and a legend of the German techno scene.

Huddo - This Is Not A Drill
If it wasn't clear from the track title, or the pulverising kick drum. This is definitely not a drill. ACT local DJ/producer Huddo is here to make a statement. And he doesn't pull any punches. Charging head on into battle, this track is deep and percussive. Thick layers of trippy atmospheric pulses and a dark commanding vocal. The future is bright for this young producer. Ignore at you're own peril.

Unknownfunction - Opaque
The hypnotic modular master returns with this absolute cerebral delight. Turning the bpm up a notch, and keeping the dark hypnotic grooves constant. Opaque is mechanically organic, and ever evolving. One of the hardest working, and severely underrated producers in the Australian scene right now. This live act/producer is set for bigger things. We look forward to seeing how the path unfolds for him the the coming years.

Sascha Müller - We Want Freedom
Connecting with people from all around the globe has been one of the most rewarding things we have gotten out of this since we started this label so many years ago. Sascha Müller was an unexpected path we crossed in the process. This track he has shared with us is a perfect showcase of the diversity of his productions. Clean and crisp production, straight into all out dubstep chaos. This is a track for the people. Infused with 90s angst and a pulsating bass line. The people have spoken!

Anti-P.L.U.R - After Thought
Lastly we are thrilled to finally have a release from Adrian after all these years on our label. Anti-P.L.U.R is just one of the many pseudonyms that he produces under. Also a producer of house, tribal and dark techno.'After Thought' is a groovy, hypnotic, dark percussive psychedelic number reminiscent of the old Acid Flash compilation series from the early 2000s. With tons of funk and a cutting 303 acid line, there isn't much this track doesn't have. How does something this dark have such uplifting positive energy? How is that possible? Magic.


We will be releasing the next chapters over the coming weeks. This project has wrapped up, but we are still taking submissions for the next V/A project if you would like to get involved.
