There is a saying about how you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

The year is 2007, we are driving around the city at night in a car with our friend DJ Shellshock. The windows are down, and there is some seriously heavy hardtechno being blasted out for all to hear!

We were listening to a burnt cd with a mix that we had downloaded from a German DJ named: HardtraX [link below]

At the time, we had heard nothing like it. Heavily distorted Industrial rhythms, screeching synth lines and sheer chaos over relentlessly pounding kick drums.

We had heard hard techno before, but not like this...

HardtraX is one of the original pioneers of the hardtechno sound. And any time you see his name on a release, you instantly know that it is going to be heavy!

Even all these years later he still hasn't lost his edge, or passion for the sound. Never swaying, or chasing trends or fads. Just constantly evolving, and consistently producing a high volume of quality releases..

His work ethic is seriously next level!

He has done several remixes and [nstbt_podcasts] for us over the years. Along with releasing countless tracks, remixes, podcasts and sample packs for other labels. Most notably, for DOHT where he has released his own signature bundle: en.obihardtechno.net/product-page/the-sound-of-hard-techno-1

In between all of this, he has taken the time to send us a couple of original tracks for his first ever full original release with us that we are beyond excited to share with you all!

We are very grateful, and blown away to think that all these years later that any of this was possible. He is one of the reasons that we started doing any of this all those years ago. I had no idea of the significance of those moments until meow...
